My eldest daughter turned 11 on the 25th of November.

She will need to consider about the entering exam for private junior high school.
But she is not so good at studying.

She has capability and potential as he is good at Japanese class.
But not good for other classes like Math, Science, Social study, etc.
I believe it’s closely related to curiosity and how to enjoy the learning.

Actually when I was young, I was also not doing that well.
On the contrary, I protested to my parent and determined not to do any study.

Nowadays, there’s lots of contents available in Netflix and Web.
Those will distract her.

I will continue to be a good advisor to her, using some kind of my success story.
I still believe private middle school is better choice.

My manager is now on medical leave.
He will get back on Jan 2025.

I like him as he is not simply good guy but good for me.
And our strong point is clearly different.
That’s very important to be a good team.

Hope his surgery went well, and he is having smooth recovery.

Actually I’m not sure the reason or name of sickness for his surgery.
He didn’t clarify it and our director also didn’t mention, so I didn’t ask as it’s kind of private area.
But he said 3 weeks stay is needed after the surgery, so I can assume it’s related to internal organs or something.

I’ve heard that my manager will start to take medical leave.
He will have surgery in 20th Nov, but I’m not sure about the details, as he (and his boss) didn’t mention it clearly, so I didn’t ask.

My honest feeling is it’s a kind of challenge.
We are good team to support each other, as strong point is different each other.
I really hope the surgery will go well.

By the way, I needed to face the fact that my English vocabulary is limited for this type of conversation.
I could only say “Hope the surgery will go well” in 1on1 call.
I have no plan to seek to move to management role, but this is one of the reason it looks very challenging for me.

It was not so great honestly but I could enjoy the book without getting bored.
